A summary of the work the Office of Sustainability did in FY2018

Highlights of FY2018 include: the launch of the first of its kind Sustainability Data Pool; deeper analysis and understanding of the impact of climate change on the MIT campus, in partnership with the City of Cambridge; an 8 percent reduction in employee parking transactions following the launch of Access MIT in 2016; a reduction of 9 percent in greenhouse gas emissions; the launch of a Food and Sustainability Working Group that brings together campus stakeholders from dining to anthropology; and the release and endorsement of the Pathway to Sustainability Leadership framework by the Campus Sustainability Task Force.
