The Climate Reality Project

Though many academic, governmental and other organizations are actively working to find solutions to climate change, there is a bit of a gap when it comes to students–many students feel that they don't have the knowledge, resources or connections to get involved in climate change efforts. MIT's Undergraduate Association Sustainability Committee would love to have an open presentation empowering MIT students (undergrads and grad students alike) to get involved by outlining ways they can help. Ideally, the presentation would both emphasize why climate change is such a pressing issue for present and future generations, and show students ways they can help.

The Climate Reality Project

Speaker: Ryan North

Ryan North is based in Boston and has a background in business management and marketing. He is an experienced investor and entrepreneur and has an unbridled passion for the environment, which he uses by seeking opportunities to help educate others. His passion goes beyond Anthropogenic Global Warming activism and he strives to contribute to discover and employ geo-engineering solutions to the most pressing environmental issues facing humanity, climate change.
