Campus Planning teams up with the Office of Sustainability on projects often. The ways I most often personally interact on the climate plan is around stormwater management, green infrastructure, and urban forestry. For planning open space, Campus Planning looks at ways we can transform areas of campus to still accommodate many functions and better serve human and environmental health.

Reflecting on Our Food System as We Return to Campus
As a full cohort of students and staff return to campus, food will likely play a role in welcoming the MIT community back to campus. In anticipation of shared campus food experiences this academic year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the challenges and opportunities in our food system as well as the people and dishes that got us through the past year.
