Some of today's most important challenges in health and technology play out at a scale we can barely see. Prof. Justus Ndukaife will show how his lab's optical nanotweezers capture and characterize this invisible world in a label-free manner—from nanoplastics (ARPA-H STOMP program) to drug-delivery nanomedicine—while working with MIT teams to build next-generation quantum technologies through the deterministic placement of quantum emitters onto nanophotonic devices. He will also share his mentorship philosophy and vision for lasting research partnerships at MIT.
