Join us on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, for the MIT pK-12 Initiative’s second annual Day of Climate at the MIT Museum. The afternoon will be a lively, all-ages celebration focusing on climate learning and action for all.

We are excited to welcome keynote speaker Suni Williams, retired NASA astronaut, who will share reflections from her time in space and the unique perspective it offers on Earth’s climate and the importance of protecting our planet.

This dynamic event will feature hands-on activities for young learners, inspiring talks from leading climate voices like MIT’s Sara Beery, a conservation technologist and professor of AI, and interactive experiences showcasing innovative climate work from across the Institute. Day of Climate brings together learners, educators, activists, researchers, and families to spotlight the creativity, leadership, and real-world impact driving climate action in schools, communities, and the world. Come explore, connect, and be inspired by the people shaping a more sustainable future.
