What is MIT Fresh Food Bags?

Available for just $10, each bag provides a weekly share of fresh, locally grown, organic produce sourced directly from Hannan Healthy Foods Farm. Veggies are harvested on Sundays by MIT Farm. This low-cost purchasing initiative is designed to make sustainable, healthy ingredients easily accessible to the MIT community. Pop-up markets happen on Mondays (mostly!) from 3-6pm (or until bags sell out) in 8-219. Keep an eye on updated dates and times below.

This program is organized by MIT Office of Sustainability, MIT Farm Club, and MIT Anthropology, with support from our partners at the MIT Undergraduate Association and Campus Dining.

Volunteer on the Farm:

All MIT community members are also welcome to volunteer on the farm. It’s a great way to meet new friends and learn about food systems. For volunteer opportunities, visit MIT Farm Club at  https://farm.mit.edu.
