New Moon Ceremony

You don't have to do all the time. Cultivate your human right to be.

The new moon is a time of darkness, rest, creativity, and gestation.  Join MIT's Indigenous Spirit Community in a centering ceremony to remind ourselves to honor our time of regeneration.

Meet us by the river at astronomical twilight (7:15pm) for smudging with sage.  A short ceremony will be followed by a guided meditation and a ritual of focus and release.  Then, a little something hot — and time to let the dark moon and meandering water work to refresh your spirit.

Please RSVP.  Event is sponsored by Indigenous Spirit at MIT and Mind Hand Heart and is open to you.

Indoors at Building 51 in case of wet weather.
