Event Info:
The Eˆ3 dinner series is a monthly program intended to bring different members of the MIT energy community together with a distinguished alum in the energy industry. Organized by MITEI and the MIT Energy Club, the dinners are intended to not only foster connections between alumni and current students but also to build bridges between current students from different MIT undergraduate and graduate communities over shared interests in energy. Three graduate students (MBA, PhD, etc) along with three current undergraduates (Energy Studies Minors, Energy Club, DE FPOP, etc) will be selected to participate in each dinner, representing a diverse set of interests and experiences in energy.
Speaker Bio:
Sandhya is Co-founder and COO of Solstice, an award-winning social enterprise dedicated to expanding access to clean energy to all Americans. Prior to joining Solstice, she worked at Barclays’ investment banking division in New York and London, advising and executing public equity transactions for Technology, Media and Telecom companies. She was also deeply involved in Barclays’ philanthropy work with Endeavor, Women’s World Banking, and Barclays’ Social Innovation Fund. Sandhya holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she received the Sustainability Certificate.
