CANCELED: African Urbanisms Workshop

Organized by Gabriella Carolini, Jason Jackson, and DUSP’s UrbanAfrica group, The African Urbanisms Workshop will be hosted on May 14 and 15th. It will be a high-level workshop featuring African leadership and mayors from Freetown, Accra, Kigali, and Addis Ababa around the theme of "making tacit knowledge explicit" in four substantive areas of urban development work (infrastructure finance and innovation; mobility; labor, technology, and placemaking; and urban design for healthy cities).

This will be the first in a series of “Southern Urbanisms” series at DUSP, launching a Community of Practice that aims to build and leverage new data toward modeling policies, plans, and implementation strategies among proximate peers that promote equity on the ground.
