Living LAB-O-RAMA

The LAB-O-RAMA celebrates research that uses the MIT Campus as a Test Bed for sustainability and climate related research. Participants discover the story of campus-based research with teams of diverse stakeholders and with live demos, models, props and simulations in a modified poster-style event, featuring academic findings and inventions.


In 2017 and 2018, the Lab-o-rama event engaged 32 teams of researchers including faculty, staff, student and external partner participants such the Concrete Sustainability Hub, the Urban Risk Lab, the Central Utilities Plant, Wang Lab, IS&T, the Varanasi Lab, the Office of Digital Learning, the ChemE Department, Senseable Cities Lab, MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, the Buonassisi Lab, the Graduate Student Council, the Edgerton Center, the PKG Center,  the Wang Lab, the Joint Program, the Parsons Lab, Nanomaterials Lab, the Media Lab, S-Design Lab and the Building Technologies Group.
