The 2017 MIT Sustainability Summit: Funding the Future challenges conventional investment actors – from seed venture capital to public capital markets – to innovate and explore the rise of unconventional actors and financing mechanisms. With a theme of “Funding the Future,” the conference focuses on transitioning to a more sustainable future by linking finance to tackle climate change, water scarcity and food security. Some of the questions the conference will delve into revolve around:
