Greening MIT Community Feedback and Discussion

Thanks to all who made the recent GreeningMIT Fall Break Event with President Hockfield a great success! The event brought to Killian Court thousands of the MIT community to learn more about the extraordinary diversity of activities, organizations and people helping to make MIT a model of sustainable practices. My thanks for the huge success of this week's community event. What a great way to showcase some of the many ways that you and your colleagues are making MIT greener and, at the same time, building a wonderful sense of community. I credit each of you with the brilliant weather, but also with the very good cheer and strong sense of can-do optimism that permeated the afternoon.
