About the Club
Sustainability@MIT is MIT's largest community of students interested in sustainability, having been formed through the merging of SfGS, SAVE, Generator, Sloan Sustainability Speaker Series, and S*.
We strive to inspire, educate, and empower a new generation of leaders - those capable of creating a sustainable, just, and vital future for our planet. The crisis of climate change is just one reminder the urgency of the challenge, one that requires action on our campus, our homes and communities, our jobs, and beyond. We support students, staff, and faculty in bringing our passion, energy, and ingenuity to these contexts to make our mark.
We organize speaker, poster sessions, social events, campus greening projects, community activism, and educational & research activities, all with everlasting sustainability in mind. To help in our efforts, Sustainability@MIT encourages strong working relationships with MIT faculty, influential businesses and organizations, the greater sustainability community, and the World Student Community for Sustainable Development. Sustainability@MIT is well represented by both undergraduate and graduate students.
If you're a part of the MIT community and you are interested in sustainability, join Sustainability@MIT to be involved!
